L’antologia degli Style Council a ottobre
Gli Style Council hanno rappresentato una delle parentesi più interessanti e innovative della sfera pop anni ’80 e a distanza di più di trent’anni dallo scioglimento, il duo composto da Paul Weller e Mick Talbot torta nei negozi di dischi e in digitale.
Gli Style Council hanno annunciato – a sorpresa – la pubblicazione, di Long Hot Summers, una ricca antologia che ripercorrerà tutta la carriera della storica band fondata da Paul Weller nel 1983 e scioltasi sei anni più tardi. Il lavoro sarà disponibile dal 30 ottobre ed è già preordinabile online, includerà una lunga serie di successi, demo, remix e tracce inedite.
“Long Hot Summers” includerà, oltre ai classici della discografia, due brani inediti: una versione demo di My Ever Changing Moods arrangiato da un’orchestra, ed una extended version di Dropping Bombs On The Whitehouse. Il disco è stato rimasterizzato negli storici studio di Abbey Road. Il lavoro non sarà disponibile solo in digitale, ma anche in Doppio CD e Triplo LP in Vinile.
