Jon Spencer si unisce agli Hitmakers e annuncia il primo album con la band. Il nuovo lavoro sarà disponibile ad aprile.

Il nuovo album di Jon Spencer
Jon Spencer si è unito alla nuova band, gli Hitmakers. Dal progetto è stato annunciato ieri un nuovo album intitolato Spencer Gets It Lit in uscita ad aprile. Contestualmente all’annuncio la band rende disponibile un prim singolo intitolato Junk Man, disponibile al link in basso.
Jon Spencer & the Hitmakers sono formati da Spencer alla voce e alla chitarra, Sam Coomes di Quasi ai sintetizzatori e alla voce, M. Sord alla batteria e Bob Bert. La formazione del tour vedrà Janet Weiss alla batteria. Spencer ha pubblicato il suo primo album da solista Spencer Sings the Hits! nel 2018. Il suo ultimo album con i Blues Explosion è stato Freedom Tower – No Wave Dance Party 2015.
