I dettagli del nuovo album degli Avalanches
A distanza di ben quattro mesi dalla pubblicazioni di due nuovi brani, e a due dall’annuncio ufficiale del nuovo album, gli Avalanches fanno chiarezza sulla pubblicazione del tanto atteso nuovo album in studio intitolato We Will Always Love You. Il nuovo album della band sarà disponibile l’11 dicembre per l’etichetta Modular.
Dopo aver annunciato la partecipazione di numerosi colleghi come Rivers Cuomo, Leon Bridges, Jamie xx e Neneh Cherry di Weezer, la band elettronica ha rivelato oggi che appariranno nel nuovo lavoro anche Karen O, MGMT, Kurt Vile, Cornelius, Perry Farrell, Denzel Curry, Tricky, Johnny Marr , Kelly Moran e altri ancora.

I pionieri del plunderphonic, formati a Melbourne nel 1997, avevano realizzato l’ultimo disco intitolato Wildflowers nel 2016.
Negli ultimi mesi la band ha pubblicato una serie di singoli a tema spaziale, e ora sappiamo perché. In un nuovo post su Instagram , la band ha detto che la copertina presenta Ann Druyan, il direttore creativo del Voyager Golden Record Project, la cui “storia d’amore cosmica ha ispirato questa musica”. Il primo album in studio del gruppo è Since I Left You del 2000.
